Understanding swTAO: Benefits and Use Cases

swTAO acts as the connective tissue between your staked TAO and the rest of the DeFi world, permitting things such as:

  • Liquidity: Unlike standard staking that locks up your assets, swTAO allows you to use your wTAO across DeFi at all times.

  • DeFi Participation: You can employ swTAO in the lending, borrowing, yield farming and liquidity mining operations of your choice and increase your potential gains.

  • Collateralization: swTAO collateral can then be deployed through the Liquidity Mining Protocol to farms for lending purposes within the DeFi ecosystem.

Bottom line, the TAO Protocol allows you to continue having fun with your digital assets while collecting real yield.
